Petrol prices fall sharply in Thursday adjustment

The price of biofuel E5 RON92 fell by VND770 per litre to VND18,850 per litre, while RON95 fell by VND710 per litre to VND19,800 per litre.

Diesel prices decreased slightly by VND100 per litre to VND17,400 per litre, kerosene declined by VND220 per litre to VND17,650 per litre, and mazut prices dropped by VND350 per kilo to VND15,000 per kilo.

Since early this year, petrol prices have increased 19 times and decreased 20 times, while diesel prices have risen 16 times and dropped 23 times.

The two ministries decided not to use the petrol price stabilisation fund this time.
