The area used to host the famous Giang Vo Martial Art School, so the street is now designed with many patterns featuring soldiers forging weapons and practising martial arts.

The highlight of the street is several details and symbols reminiscent of the Giang Vo Martial Art School, an area where martial arts were practised, military techniques were taught, and high-level military demonstrations were held during the period of the feudal capital of Thang Long.

The lighting system around Ngoc Khanh Lake features designs inspired by soldiers, showcasing martial arts training with various weapons such as bows, arrows, crossbows, swords and spears.

However, the street has failed to attract visitors since its opening.

According to some tourists, the street's failure to lure visitors could be due to a lack of recreation and entertainment activities.

Meanwhile, residents said opening a pedestrian street was unsuitable as traffic restrictions have caused inconvenience.
