The Son Hai Group proposed road would be 103 kilometres long, linking the Nha Trang-Cam Lam Expressway and Giau Giay-Lien Khuong Highway.
Around 48 kilometres of the route will run through Khanh Hoa.
The VND36 trillion (USD1.53 billion) project would affect 116 households.
The project will be carried out in the 2025-2028 period.
Once put into operation, Nha Trang-Lien Khuong Expressway will help ease pressure for National Highway 27C which is often at risk of landslides.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province, Nguyen Tan Tuan, has urged the establishment of a board to oversee the project implementation. The board will then work with authorities of Lam Dong Province on issues of concern.
