He took the two animals to his home to look after them.

The two Javan pangolins are critically endangered and belong to Group IB. The mother, weighing 2.8 kilos, has an injured tail and has refused to eat for three days. Meanwhile, the baby, whose gender has not yet been identified, weighs 0.05 kilos. Its umbilical cord has become dry but not yet fallen off.

The pangolins have been handed over to Tuy Phuoc District’s Forest Management Board.
