The delegation, led by Nguyen Hong Minh, deputy director of the Sports Authority of Vietnam, has been prepared to meet all professional requirements. Vietnam targets 91 to 110 gold medals and aims to remain among the top-performing nations at the regional competition.

SEA Games 33 will run from December 9 to 20. The first Vietnamese teams will depart for Thailand on December 1, while the last group of athletes is scheduled to return on December 21, one day after the closing ceremony.

Only four teams, men’s and women’s football and men’s and women’s futsal, have yet to finalise their rosters. The U22 men’s football team and the women’s national football team are expected to each include 31 members, with 23 players. Both futsal teams are expected to have 20 members. Athletics remains the largest team, with 66 members.
