Vietnam has jumped five places in April's FIFA rankings compared with March, standing at 125th worldwide and topping Southeast Asia.

With the improvement, Vietnam surpassed the Philippines, which dropped three places in the FIFA rankings, to hold the first position in Southeast Asia and the 14th in Asia.
Thailand was third in Southeast Asia after Vietnam and the Philippines and stands at 142nd worldwide.
Iran tops Asia and stands at the 40th in the world, followed by Japan at 50, South Korea at 57 and Australia 63.
World's top ten in April
Timor Leste was ranked fourth in Asia and 152 worldwide, up 33 places, due to its victory against Mongolia in both Asia’s qualifying rounds of World Cup 2018.
Myanmar stands at the 158th in the world, followed by Indonesia at 159, Singapore 162, Malaysia 164, Laos 178, Cambodia 179 and Brunei at 183.
Germany and Argentine both hold the top position in the world rankings. Belgium outperformed Colombia to stand at third, Brazil jumped one place to fifth. France slipped three places, going out of the top ten.
