U16 PVF will compete in the Al Kass International Cup from January 19 to January 30, a tournament featuring leading youth teams from around the world. The Vietnamese side has been drawn with U16 Barcelona, U16 PSG and U16 Kashiwa Reysol.
All matches will be played at stadiums within the Aspire Academy complex, which has been selected to stage future editions of the U-17 World Cup.
The tournament will offer U16 PVF a chance to test themselves against elite youth sides at top-level venues.
The squad includes several players who recently impressed with Vietnam’s U17 team in the qualifiers for the AFC U-17 Asian Cup 2026, alongside talents from PVF’s U14 side that competed in the Northern Clubs U14 Championship 2025–2026.
U16 PVF will open their campaign against U16 Kashiwa Reysol of Japan at 9.50pm on January 20, 2026. They will then face U16 PSG of France at 9.50pm on January 22, before meeting U16 Barcelona at 7.30pm on January 24.
All fixtures will take place at pitch No 7 at Aspire Academy in Doha, Qatar.
