Visitors will be treated to a wide range of local specialties alongside international cuisine, as well as artistic performances, cocktail shows featuring local ingredients, and free workshops such as making cha muc (fried cuttlefish patties), banh gat gu (rolled rice pancakes), nem chua, cha nem, and banh chung.
The festival will host around 200 booths across three main areas, featuring international cuisine; Vietnamese cuisine showcasing the northern, central, southern regions; and Quang Ninh cuisine highlighting the province’s coastal and mountainous specialties. Using VR/AR technology, visitors will also be able to explore ingredient-growing regions across Quang Ninh.
A highlight of this year’s edition will be the international food zone, featuring top hotels, restaurants, and service providers from around the world, promising a high-class culinary experience.
As the fifth annual edition, the festival aims to boost tourism, promote cultural values, and honor the province’s unique culinary heritage. It is expected to attract 30,000-50,000 visitors, contributing to Quang Ninh’s goal of welcoming 21.2 million tourists in 2025, including 1.25 million international arrivals in the fourth quarter alone.
To stimulate tourism demand, the province will host about 30 more cultural and sporting events by year’s end, including the first Vietnam Travel Day, the Bach Dang Victory Art Exhibition, the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon, and the Yen Tu Heritage-Touch the Legacy Run.
Notably, November will also mark the debut of the Grand Slam Halong Bay with the Republic of Korea (RoK) projects, a series of cultural, sporting, and tourism events such as the International Businesswomen Beauty Pageant, concerts featuring leading Korean artists, fashion shows, and an international marathon. The program is expected to draw major entrepreneurs, artists, and influencers from both Vietnam and the RoK.
