Off-road motorcycle race draws crowds to Lam Dong coast

An off-road motorcycle race has drawn crowds of visitors to Lam Dong Province's coastal Tien Thanh Ward, combining motorsport with beach tourism.

The eighth edition of the event took place over the weekend at a seaside tourism area, attracting riders and spectators with high-speed races across sandy terrain.

The professionally designed course features steep climbs, sharp turns and a series of obstacles, while Tien Thanh's soft sand adds to the challenge, testing riders' skill and endurance.

Crowds lined the track as competitors accelerated over dunes, launched off jumps and navigated tight corners, with flying sand adding to the excitement.

Organisers said the event is one of the year's leading motocross competitions, providing a platform for off-road riders to compete, exchange experience and promote the sport.

In addition to the races, visitors joined festival-style activities and met members of the biking community.

Local authorities see the combination of beach landscapes and motorsport as a way to diversify tourism products and strengthen Lam Dong's appeal as an adventure travel destination.
