According to the Danang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the programme will run from late January to early March 2026, taking place across the city centre as well as suburban and mountainous areas, and will be linked to traditional cultural values, folk beliefs and community life.
Key events include the 10th Cam Ha ornamental kumquat festival in Hoi An Tay (January 28-29), an exhibition titled Horses and Flowers in the Works of Le Ba Dang at the Danang Fine Arts Museum (January 31-February 28), and spring flower festivals, flower markets and flower streets for Lunar New Year 2026 (February 1-6) across the city.

Traditional highlights will include the Vietnamese Tet 2026 festival (February 6-8), spaces showcasing traditional Tet culture (February 6-26), the Lunar New Year festival and Old Tet in Hoi An streets market fair (February 9-26), a Tet cake festival, the Lantern Festival, and various village and folk festivals.
A highlight of New Year’s Eve will be fireworks displays scheduled for midnight on February 17, 2026, at five locations across the city. On the same day, Danang will also welcome the first visitors of the year arriving by air at Danang International Airport and Chu Lai Airport.
In addition, a series of artistic performances celebrating the Party and Spring, along with tuong, bai choi and hat boi shows, street music, and a Lantern Festival poetry night, will be held throughout Tet at public spaces, theatres and residential areas.
Some programmes may be adjusted depending on actual conditions, with updates to be provided via official information channels, city officials said.
