Two young orphans in Ha Tinh Province are in desperate need of financial help for their own daily lives and to take care of their ill grandmother after their parents died.

Vo Huu Duc and Vo Huu Tai are ten and eleven-year-old boys from Village 7, Cam My Commune.
Tran Nhu Ty, the boys' uncle said the are all families in the village are poor, but Duc and Tai's family was happy. Six years ago, their mother was struck by lightning while working in the field. She died immediately. Suffering after his wife's death, their father, Tin, was frequently ill but still tried to support the family. There were months when Duc and Tai could not go to school because their father was unable to pay tuition.
He ignored all the hardships to continued trying to support his mother and two boys. Duc and Tai are good students. However, on June 29, Tin suddenly died after complaining of a pain in his chest.
Taking care of grandmother
"I felt such deep grief when I attended Tin's funeral. Almost everybody cried upon seeing the two orphans," said one neighbour.
Without parents, Duc and Tai now take care of their grandmother, who has cerebral palsy. The boys' relatives are also living in tough conditions; one of their uncles is paralysed, so they can only help with daily meals. The boys may have to drop out of school in near future.
Le Van Nghia, Chairman of Cam My Commune People's Committee, said they would report the case to the communal office of labour, invalids and social affairs so that the boys could get some support. He also hoped kind people would help the boys financially and with good wishes.
