Nguyen Vu Linh of Vietnam was named fourth runner-up at the Mister International 2026 final held in Bangkok on September 26, finishing among the top six contestants in a field of more than 50 participants from around the world.

The title of Mister International 2026 was awarded to Mexico's Andres Briseno Briseno following the conclusion of the competition, which took place in Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand.

Throughout the contest, Vu Linh was regarded as one of Vietnam's strongest representatives, actively participating in official events, challenges and promotional activities leading up to the final night.
Before the competition, he said his goal was to compete for the highest title. However, he also emphasised his desire to represent a confident and modern image of Vietnamese men on the international stage.
Speaking after the final, Vu Linh acknowledged feeling some disappointment at not achieving his ultimate objective, but said he was proud of reaching the top six among a highly competitive field.
"I hope this achievement will motivate me to continue pursuing new goals in my career, strive for further success and share positive values with the community," he said.
Born in 1994 in Vinh Long Province, Vu Linh graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and previously worked as a flight attendant.
He first gained national recognition after finishing as runner-up in the Vietnam Fashion Model competition in 2018.
His international pageant record includes being named fourth runner-up at Mister Grand International 2022 and Manhunt International 2025. In 2024, he was appointed Tourism Communications Ambassador for Ninh Thuan Province.
The result at Mister International 2026 marks the third time Vu Linh has secured a fourth runner-up finish at an international male pageant.
Mister International 2026 was held from September 12 to September 26 in Thailand. Vietnam has previously achieved notable success at the competition, with Trinh Bao winning the title in 2018. More recently, Manh Lan finished as first runner-up in 2024, while Doan Cong Vinh reached the top 10 in 2025.
