The Danang Tourism Promotion Centre has announced that the online travel platform had included the central Vietnamese city in its Travel Trends 2027 report.

Other destinations on the list include Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, Hurghada in Egypt, Malmo in Sweden, Trapani in Italy, Samos in Greece and Chongqing in China. Danang is the only destination from both Vietnam and Southeast Asia to make the top 10.
According to Skyscanner, the ranking is based on growth in searches for return flights between January 1 and June 17, compared with the same period in 2025, alongside an assessment of each destination's appeal. Searches for Danang increased by 68 per cent.
The platform highlighted the city's diverse attractions, from My Khe Beach and the Golden Bridge to its seafood cuisine and lantern-lit settings. The iconic Golden Bridge was also selected as the destination's featured image.
Beyond its beaches, Danang offers natural attractions such as Son Tra Peninsula and the Marble Mountains, as well as access to cultural heritage sites including Hoi An Ancient Town and the My Son Sanctuary. Visitors can also explore the region's local lifestyle and diverse cuisine.
Danang has received further international recognition ahead of 2027. Lonely Planet included the city in its Best in Travel 2027 selection of 50 outstanding destinations, while US-based online travel platform Priceline named it among 10 destinations worth visiting next year.
