A grandmother in Hai Duong Province is in desperate need of financial support to save her 12-year-old grandson from malignant tumour after his parents abandoned him.
Pham Van Dung is being treated at Viet-Germany in Hanoi. Only his grandmother, Nguyen Thi Se, takes care of him but she doesn't have enough money for meals. Sympathetic with their situation, doctors often buy lunches for her.

The tests results show that Dung's malignant tumour is attacking the bone marrow and taking over the left lung. The tumour is so big now that he needs to be operated and then go through radiotherapy.
Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Du said, "If Dung do not having surgery soon, he will die. I haven't told Dung's grandmother about this yet. She keeps telling us if anything happen to Dung, she would not be able to live."
Se does not know how to pay for the treatment
Se said, "I don't know who Dung's father is. His mother told me she worked as a house helper but we haven't heard anything from her for years. We have been depending on each other for so long. I'm taking care of him now and he'll care for me when he grows up. But then suddenly he felt sick and had to be admitted to hospital."
Se does not know how to find money to pay for the treatment as Dung's grandfather died long ago and their relatives can't help them.
