Free vocational training for disadvantaged young people

Free vocational training  

They are enrolling trainees for three-month courses in the food and beverage, sales and marketing, information technology, nail art, and hair-dressing.

The courses targets people aged between 17 and 30, who come from low-income households, broken families, or families affected by HIV/AIDS, or those who have benefited from preferential policies.

Training courses will be organised at different locations across the country including Hanoi, Hai Duong Province, Danang City, Hue City, and Hoi An City.

In Hanoi, four training courses will be opened, one on December 5 and one in January.

Two courses in Hai Duong will start on December 16 and two more courses in Hoi An will be opened on December 27.

Four courses in Danang and three ones in Hue were opened on November 27.

Trainees will be provided with free vocational training, training material, job orientation and placement.

REACH has provided free vocational training for 7,711 people since 2004, 611 of whom are currently undergoing training, with 6,175 already having been placed in jobs.

The organisation aims to train more than 1,600 people, and provide placement services this year.
