A group of donors recently held the fourth death anniversary of a baby girl who was abandoned by her parents and cared for by the group up until her death.
The death anniversary of the baby named, Nhan Ai, was organised at Nhu Lai Pagoda in Go Vap District, HCM City.

Preparations for death anniversary

The anniversary was held at Nhu Lai Pagoda
The baby was abandoned four years ago at the Pediatrics Hospital by her parents just one month after her birth. She suffered from several serious diseases including congenital heart disease and septicemia. The baby died at 10 months, after several months of being cared for by kind parents and dedicated doctors.
DTiNews helped connected kind parents and an association of involved parents that was set up after the baby’s death in order to operate several charity projects targeting disadvantaged children.

Since its founding, the association has expanded its operations by setting up other funds to support underprivileged children. Currently, the programme “Bua sang yeu thuong” or “Breakfast of Love” is lacking in personnel.
“Sometimes, we find it hard to continue the association, but we keep our resolve by remembering the disadvantaged children waiting for a free meal,” a mother said.
