This year’s Youth Month focuses on practical activities such as eliminating temporary and dilapidated housing, implementing the "500 days and nights to complete 3,000 km of expressways" campaign, and supporting disadvantaged youth. These efforts aim to foster a vibrant spirit of competition and contribute to socio-economic development.

Speaking at the launch event, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long emphasized the goal of achieving economic growth of at least 8% in 2025, laying the foundation for an annual growth rate of over 10% during the 2026-2030 period. According to the Deputy PM, achieving this target requires mobilizing the strength of the entire political system, with youth playing a pioneering role in emerging fields, mastering science and technology.

On the same day, Youth Month 2025 was also launched in Ho Chi Minh City with various meaningful activities, including the 16th 'Volunteer Program for Young Scientific Intellectuals'. This initiative mobilizes young intellectuals to participate in volunteer activities, pioneering the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution 57 on science, technology, and digital transformation.

The program's total funding exceeds VND20 billion, allocated to projects supporting youth entrepreneurship and volunteer activities for the community.

Additionally, Ho Chi Minh City’s youth have launched campaigns to promote and assist in installing the "HCM Citizen" digital application, develop green spaces, create youth eco-friendly corners, and establish 90 "National Flag Streets."

Huynh Khang, a student at the University of Science (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City), shared, "Ho Chi Minh City’s youth take pride in this opportunity to give back, showcase our pioneering and creative spirit, and contribute to making the 50th anniversary of national reunification a truly memorable occasion."
