According to Giang, up to 45 percent of hotel bookings are from South Korean guests, followed by tourists from India and other countries, while only 5 percent are from domestic visitors. Hotel room prices start at VND1.2 million (USD47.33), with little change from usual rates.
Many hotels on An Thuong Street in Ngu Hanh Son District have a room occupancy rate of 90 percent.
Thu Huong, a staff member at a hotel on An Thuong Street, noted that her hotel has experienced a significant rise in room bookings. She anticipated the demand would grow as Christmas and the New Year approaches.
Meanwhile, a hotel on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in Lien Chieu District, with over 340 rooms, has been fully reserved since late November.
Cao Tri Dung, Chairman of the Danang Tourism Association, stated that the number of visitors to the city by the end of this year is expected to surpass last year's figures, thanks to the addition of new international flight routes. The city will also host a Christmas and New Year 2025 celebration featuring various activities over 20 days.
Lighted Christmas trees and giant gift boxes will be placed along both sides of the Dragon Bridge, accompanied by artistic performances and dynamic visual, sound, and light effects.
