Hundreds of people in the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum are struggling with rising flood water.
Torrential rains have brought about severe inundation for some communes in Ia H'Drai District, including Ia Der and Chu Hem.
Up to 42 households in the communes have been flooded. Among those, 17 have been evacuated.
A road has been damaged by heavy rains. Many villages in the two communes remain totally isolated. Meanwhile, lots of houses are deep underwater. Up to 134 fishing ponds in the communes and a large area of crops have been damaged.
People in Ia Dal Commune are unable to travel due to the dangerous roads. The worse affected sixteen households have been provided with money and food.
