On May 5-6, 225 Vietnamese workers returned via the Cau Treo Border Gate in Huong Son District, including 171 on May 5 alone.

At present, they are being quarantined for Covid-19 prevention in Cam Xuyen District.
Local agencies have been instructed to tighten control over immigrants, including experts and those who enter the country for diplomatic purposes, to detect people who enter the country through Cau Treo Border Gate illegally.
The province is also preparing to quarantine Lao students after they return to study following a break due to Covid-19.
A Covid-19 patient is currently being treated in Ha Tinh Province’s Cau Treo Hospital. The patient is in a stable condition and tested negative for Covid-19 on May 5.
