Vietnamese students succeed at Chemistry Olympiad

Phan Quang Dung was awarded the Olympiad’s highest prize

Phan Quang Dung from Hanoi National University’s High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences was awarded the Olympiad’s highest prize.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Quoc Anh and Ho Quang Khai from the same school, and Le Duc Viet from the Tran Phu Gifted High School in northern Hai Phong city, all clinched silver medals.

Last year, Vietnamese high school students bagged one gold, two silvers and one bronze when the event was held in the US.

Vietnam will host the 46th International Chemistry Olympiad in July 2014.
