The Vietnamese Embassy has actively contacted with the Vietnamese Association, the association of trekkers, travel agencies and hospitals in Nepal to seek more information.
The snowstorm and avalanche in Nepal’s Himalayas has killed at least 20 trekkers and guides, including nine foreigners and eight Nepalis, on a popular hiking route, while more than 100 others remain out of contact, according to local officials.
