The whole Danang City has been blocked for virus prevention since July 28
The new patients, aged between 29-71 were from the central city of Danang and the neighbouring province of Quang Nam. Most of them were related to the Danang General Hospital which have reported dozens of cases over the past four days.
Three hospitals in Danang City have been isolated while social distancing has been applied at six other districts for at least 15 days for Covid-19 prevention starting from July 28.
Danang Hospital, C Hospital and the Orthopedic and Physical Rehabilitation Hospital of Danang have been under lockdown. Sections surrounding the hospitals like Quang Trung, Hai Phong, Ong Ich Khiem and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai streets have been blocked.
Social distancing has also been applied in Hai Chau, Thanh Khe, Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son, Cam Le and Lien Chieu districts per the prime ministerial directives.
On July 28, four Covid-19 patients were given the all clear, raising the number of recoveries to 369, the committee said. Among those who are under treatment, nine have tested negative forSARS-CoV-2 once and three negative at least twice.
At present, 15,033 people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients or came from virus-hit areas are being quarantined at hospitals, centralised facilities, or at home.
