The Vietnam Road Administration said the facilities are located along the eastern section of the North-South Expressway.
Five permanent rest stops are currently in operation on the route between Hanoi and Can Tho, while one additional stopping point is already serving motorists on the Danang-Quang Ngai Expressway.
Meanwhile, 15 other rest stops have completed essential service facilities and will begin operations during the holiday period, including sites on sections such as Mai Son-National Highway 45, Nghi Son-Dien Chau, Ham Nghi-Vung Ang and Vinh Hao-Phan Thiet.
Four of the newly opened stops will include petrol stations.
The road administration said contracts had been signed for all 21 planned rest-stop projects on the eastern North-South Expressway, with investors aiming to complete most of them in 2026.
