Vietnam condemns a truck attack on pedestrians in Stockholm capital of Sweden on April 7, Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry Le Thi Thu Hang has said.
Answering reporters’ questions on Vietnam’s response to the attack, Hang said on April 8 that “We extend our deep sympathies to the Swedish Government and people, especially families of the victims.”
Those behind the attack will be strictly punished, she stressed.
According to the spokesperson, no information on any Vietnamese victims in the attack has been reported so far, she noted.
She added that the Vietnamese Embassy in Sweden is closely coordinating with local authorised agencies to follow the situation and give timely support to Vietnamese citizens in case of emergency.
