In response to the incident, the Vietnamese official on August 13 described this as brazen acts of deliberately hurting the sentiment of the Vietnamese people which are not in conformity with the sound relations of neighbourliness and traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia.
“We request Cambodia to bring these extremists to trial under law and take effective measures to prevent the future reoccurrence.” Binh added.
