Vietnam always treasures its time-honoured relations with the DPRK, Thanh said, adding that the DPRK delegation’s visit will contribute to consolidating the traditional friendship between the two Parties, States, armies and their people.Minister Pak Yong Sik in turn lauded the development of bilateral ties, saying this is a valuable asset that needs to be nurtured and fostered in the future.
The ministers confirmed their desire to constantly forge the traditional friendship between the two countries, delivering benefits to their people and contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region.
They concurred to continue maintaining the traditional ties by intensifying the exchange of delegations and language learners as well as boosting cooperation in education-training, museum, library, culture and sport.
Both sides also compared notes on issues of shared concern and reviewed cooperation between the two armies over recent times.
