National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will carry apricot and peach blossoms for the coming Lunar New Year or Tet on domestic flights, starting from January 27.
The time for the service will last until the end of February 26 or the 15th day of the first lunar month of 2021.
The branches of apricot or peach blossoms need to be a maximum of 150cm x 40cm x 40cm and are considered as check-in luggage.
The transportation fee will be VND495,000 (USD21.52), including VAT.
Each passenger is allowed to bring them with check in with 1-2 branches of apricot or peach blossoms which must be wrapped carefully to ensure the safety during the transportation.
To meet high demand on Tet, Vietnam Airlines have added 2,100 domestic flights for Tet, raising to its total flights on the occasion to nearly 12,000, equal to 2.4 million seats.
