Customs officers at Noi Bai International Airport on March 4 arrested two Thais for illegally storing a small gun and bullets in their baggage.
One woman, Phositthiphan Sumalee, 39, and one man, Phositthiphan Rachasak, 42, arrived at the airport at 2:17pm on a Qatar Airways flight from Bangkok, Thailand.
Customs officers found the gun while checking their luggage. They had not informed the customs officers about the gun.
The case is under further investigation.
