Police in My Hao Ward, working with market surveillance officers, uncovered the suspected counterfeit products during inspections carried out on June 5.
At a shop owned by Cao Tien Bang, 31, authorities found 40 short-sleeved T-shirts bearing what appeared to be counterfeit branding of Lacoste on display for sale.

According to the shop owner, the goods were valued at approximately VND 4.8 million (approximately USD 184).
Later the same day, inspectors examined a second shop owned by Nguyen Van Tuyen, 43, also located in My Hao Ward.
The inspection revealed 20 sets of short-sleeved clothing carrying labels and logos suspected of infringing the trademarks of Adidas.
The products were listed at VND 220,000 (approximately USD 8.4) per set, with a total declared value of around VND 4.4 million (approximately USD 168).
All suspected counterfeit goods from both premises have been seized as authorities continue their investigation and consider further legal action in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.
