A car falls into a river in Ha Tinh Province on December 30, leaving two dead.
According to a report from local authorities, some local residents saw a car floating in the river beneath the Cho Giay Bridge at around 7 am on December 31.
Rescue forces arrived shortly after that and found two bodies inside the car.
They were identified a Phan Ngoc Tri, 40, and Truong Thi Hoi, 29.

Initial investigations showed that Tri might have lost control while driving the car across the bridge and fell into the river on Monday night. The bridge is eight metres wide and there were no lights in the area at that time. The river's water surface is some three metres from the bridge.
Authorities are further investigating the accident.
Also on Tuesday morning, a car plunged into a 100-metre deep valley at 7 am while on Road 176 in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang's Yen Minh District.
Two people were found injured and were rushed to a local hospital while police are still expanding their search in the area.
