Trafficker of 6,000 synthetic drug pills from Laos arrested

On February 28 morning, noticing suspicious signs of Ngan Van May, a 33-year-old resident in Bo village of Viengxay district, Laos’ Houaphanh province, when he was carrying out procedures for entering Vietnam, border guards of Thanh Hoa examined and found 30 small bags containing 6,000 pink pills in his motorbike.
At the Quang Chieu border guard station in Muong Lat district, May admitted that the pills are synthetic drug that a Lao national had hired him to transport from Bo village to Vietnam.
Thanh Hoa border guards are investigating the case.
