Some localities in Vietnam have reopened their tourist sites after they eased social distancing regulations.
Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province People’s Committee agreed the pilot reopening of Melia Ho Tram, Ho Tram Strip and Six Senses and Binh Chau Hot Spring resorts on August 12.
Staff were requested to have at least one shot of Covid-19 vaccine for at least 14 days prior to returning to work. They must test negative for Covid-19 for 72 hours and have to conform to stay-at-work regulations.
Meanwhile, service users have been required to have negative test results for Covid-19 within 24 hours before using tourist facilities. They also need to be provided with two jabs of Covid-19 vaccine. When visitors want to stay for more than one week, they must be subject to frequent Covid-19 testing regulations.
From today, September 13, the northern province of Vinh Phuc has allowed local restaurants and golf courses to operate at 50 percent capacity.
Golf courses are only allowed to serve local customers and not provide food and drink, massage and sauna and steam bath services. Staff who directly serve customers have to test for Covid-19 every 14 days.
Restaurants are not permitted to allow more than 20 people in a room and have to close before 10 pm. The same closing time is also required for indoor sports services in the province.
Vinh Phuc has continued banning many activities such as karaoke parlours, swimming pools, bars and cinemas.
The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong previously allowed two star hotels, restaurants and street food stalls at 50 percent capacity from September 8.
