Three family members murdered in Tien Giang

Three people in a family were killed and one seriously injured in Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province, on August 13.

Police arrived at the scene

According to the witnesses, they heard a call for help from Le Thi Hoa's house at 5 am. After arriving at the house, they found 5-year-old Phan Ngoc Anh, Hoa's grandchild, dead in the garden, the body wrapped in a blanket. Hoa and her daughter, Dinh Thi Ngoc Ngan died in the house.

The only survivor is Hoa's second child, Dinh Thi Thi Ngoc Anh, who called for help when the murderer ran away.

Anh pointed to her brother-in-law as the suspect. Anh said he killed other people in the family and strangled her. However, upon seeing that she didn't die, he tied her up and left. He took Ngan's motorbike and many valuable items in the house.

Anh was Ngan's child with her ex-husband. She got a divorce and remarried two years ago. Her husband left his job as a veterinarian and stayed with Ngan's family.

Ngan's father was not at the house when the murder occurred.

The case is under investigation.
