
Ship Thai Thuy 88
According to the initial information, at around 1 pm on Thursday, ship Thai Thuy 88 which transported coal faced engine stall in the province’s Chan May-Lang Co area which is some 40 nautical miles from the mainland. Around two hours later, it sunk.
The 10 crew got on a life raft and contacted Regional Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Centre 2 for help.
The centre has co-operated with local authorities to deploy measures for the rescue.
