A teenager drowned and three others remained missing after being washed away while swimming at a beach in Thanh Hoa Province.
Rescue forces and local people seek for three teenagers who went missing while swimming at a beach in Thanh Hoa Province on April 23.
According to a report from local authorities, a group of eight sixth-grade students from Hoang Hai Secondary School in Hoang Hoa District went for a swim at a local beach at 1.30pm on April 23.
Four were then washed away by strong waves. Rescue forces found the body of a student at 3pm.
Hundreds of local people joined in the searching for three other students who were yet to be found by 6.30 pm the same day.
