The man, Chang Yu Jui, 28, was caught tagging at 31 Bui Vien Street by a crime patrol police team at 4 am on November 14.
At the police station, the man admitted his actions and said that he was temporarily living in Ward 12 in District 4.

The police have informed the Department of Immigration about the issue.
Chang Yu Jui may face fines of VND 1.5 million (USD65) for his artwork.
Many buildings in Ho Chi Minh City are covered in graffiti while the local authorities struggle to deal with the situation.
Chief of the District 3 People's Committee's office, Pham Thi Thuy Hang admitted that they are struggling to deal with the problem.
"Most of the graffiti is done at night so it is difficult to catch them," Hang said.
