Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example

Outstanding individuals gathered at a talk in Hanoi to share experience in studying and following the late President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.

Around 114 outstanding individuals and representatives of 68 organisations gathered at a talk in Hanoi on January 24 to share experience in studying and following the late President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.

Also present were Party General Secretary, Nong Duc Manh, Politburo Member and Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee Truong Tan Sang and Politburo Member and Secretary of the Party Central Committee To Huy Rua.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sang highlighted that to improve the Party’s leadership and capacity to build a moral foundation for the whole society, the Party launched the “Studying and Following the late President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” campaign. It has received a positive response from party members, government officials and people both at home and abroad.

The talks provided an opportunity for the organising board to draw on experience in directing the campaign, Mr Sang added.

Participants in the talks represented many organisations and millions of individuals who have made significant contributions to the campaign.

These outstanding people also held meetings with 10 agencies in Hanoi, including the Campaign’s Central Organising Board, the Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Radio the Voice of Vietnam, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, the General Department of Politics, the Vietnam People’s Army, and the Ministry of Public Security.

A ceremony to honour outstanding organisations and individuals who have made achievements in the campaign” will be held in Hanoi this evening.
