According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, early this morning, after entering the coastal areas of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau, the storm weakened into the tropical low pressure.

It is predicted to move to the west at the speed of 15-20km/h in the next 12 hours.
Due to being affected by the low pressure, today, coastal areas form Ba Ria-Vung Tau to Ca Mau provinces as well as mainland areas in Ca Mau and Bac Lieu will have strong wind.
Meanwhile, the southern region will continue having rains. The southern central and central localities will have heavy rains for the next three days.
According to Lam Quang Thi, vice chairman of An Giang Province People’s Committee, most local areas have faced torrential rains and strong wind since last night. The committee are evacuating people who live in vulnerable mountainous areas to safe places.
All pupils in An Giang Province have been allowed to stay at home today to avoid possible dangers.
The same situation has also been reported in Dong Thap Province and local pupils will remain at home today.
