According to the Ha Tinh Department of Health, the move followed the detection of a Covid-19 case who is an employee working at Ha Tinh General Hospital.
The patient is a 57-year-old man from Nguyen Du Ward. The hospital and the area where the man lives have been put under quarantine.

Local authorities are defining people who are related to the man for the quarantine and Covid-19 testing.
Under the social distancing measures in line with the Prime Ministerial Directive 16, people must stay at home and only go out in case of necessity such as buying food and medicine, and in other emergencies. Stores providing essential services and goods are still allowed to open.
Any gathering of more than two people in public places and outside offices, schools and hospitals is prohibited.
