Russian Defence Minister pays official visit to Vietnam

Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu is paying an official visit to Vietnam from January 22-23.

The visit is made at the invitation of Vietnamese Minister of National Defence General Ngo Xuan Lich.

It aims to cement the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries as well as enhance bilateral defence cooperation for the sake of their people.
