National Road is a key road connecting Quy Nhon and Pleiku.

According to the Gia Lai People’s Committee, the Quy Nhon-Pleiku Expressway is among the country’s key national infrastructure projects, playing a strategic role in the socio-economic development and national security of both the province and the wider Central Highlands region.

Local authorities have been instructed to complete land clearance by June 2026, with priority given to sections designated for the groundbreaking ceremony, scheduled for December 19.

The expressway is expected to be completed by 2029. Once operational, it will connect the Central Highlands with the south-central coastal region, boost regional socio-economic growth, and enhance the area’s transportation capacity.
