An Phu Village in Quang Ngai Province has been isolated for nearly a month
An Phu Village lies beside the Tra Khuc River and often faces flooding in the rainy season. After the recent flooding, more than 100 households in the village were isolated for nearly a month as the only road has been heavily damaged.
A local resident, Kieu Can, said that local villagers had to use boats to travel which was very dangerous and inconvenient.
"We hope that the road gets repaired soon so that our lives can return to normal," he said.

People have to travel by boats
Speaking with Dantri/Dtinews, chairman of Tinh An Commune People's Committee, they had checked the road and would soon repair the damage section.
"It would take about VND 170 million for the repair project," the official said. "We've proposed the project to the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee and are waiting for their approval."
