Prime minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will meet with business community this May
Leaders of all cities and provinces and other business representatives will join the meeting online, bringing the anticipated attendance to 10,000.
The Minister of Planning and Investment will report about the implementation of Resolution 35, which aims to support business development with action programmes. The chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry will announce the review and business opinions about the resolution.
This is a chance for firms to voice their difficulties and proposals with the prime minister. Ministers and local authorities will also discuss the complaints directly with firms.
This is the second time the prime minister has held a dialogue with the business community. Some 110,000 new firms have been established in 2016, 16.2% up on 2015. Most of the newly-established firms are located in the northern mountainous area, Red River Delta and the south-east of Vietnam.
