Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will attend the 7th Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) summit in Cambodia this week at the invitation of Cambodian PM Samdech Techno Hunsen.

The event will be held via teleconference on September 9, according to a communique by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Greater Mekong Subregion, (GMS) is a trans-national region of the Mekong River basin in Southeast Asia. It comprises six regional countries of Cambodia, China (Yunnan province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region), Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
