PM to attend 24th ASEAN Summit in Myanmar

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will lead a Vietnamese delegation to the 24 th ASEAN Summit scheduled for May 10-11 in Myanmar ’s capital city Nay Pyi Taw.

His invitation has come from Myanmar President U Thein Sein, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 5.

The 23rd ASEAN Summit was held in Brunei in October 2013, focusing discussions on the formation of an ASEAN Community by 2015.
