Petroleum prices rise for fourth consecutive time

Domestic retail petroleum prices rose at 3 pm today, July 3, following a decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance. This marks the fourth consecutive petroleum price increase.

Domestic retail petroleum prices rose again at 3 pm today, July 4, following a decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The price of biofuel E5 RON92 increased by VND450 per litre to VND22,460 per litre, while RON95 rose by VND540 per litre to VND23,550 per litre.

Diesel prices grew by VND490 per litre to VND21,170 per litre, kerosene increased by VND600 per litre to VND21,210 per litre, and mazut prices rose by VND90 per kilo to VND17,530 per kilo.

This has been the fourth consecutive petroleum price increase.

So far this year, petroleum prices have risen 16 times and fallen 11 times. Diesel has increased 15 times and dropped 12 times.

The petroleum stabilisation fund was not used during this round of adjustment.
