More than 30,000 had been sent to hospitals following traffic accidents in the first four days of the Lunar New Year Holiday, according to the Ministry of Health.

The figure showed a decline of 17.6 percent against last year's number, the ministry said.
The ministry's report also showed that by February 14, over 85,000 people were staying at hospitals nation-wide while 140 people had died in traffic-related accidents during this time.
On the evening of February 14, a serious traffic accident involving two motorbikes occurred on National 14 Road in the central highlands province of Gia Lai, killing four people and injuring one other.
