The incident occurred at around 5:10 pm on Sunday at Bao Loc Pass, in the section running through Da M'ri Town, Da Huoai District.
The passenger bus, driven by Nguyen Van Lan from Binh Phuoc, was traveling along National Highway 20 from Lam Dong to Dong Nai when it collided with a truck ahead and plunged into a 20-metre-deep ravine.

As a result, a 26-year-old woman from Binh Phuoc died on the spot, while at least two children and another male passenger were injured and quickly taken to Lam Dong II Hospital for emergency treatment.
Luckily, the two children were discharged from the hospital a few hours later, while the man, diagnosed with a spinal injury, remains under treatment.
Authorities used a crane to retrieve the wrecked vehicle from the deep ravine.
