The GSO reported that prices of six among 11 groups of goods and services increased in the month. The education group saw the highest price hike with 1.35% against last month, which is due to the tuition fee rise by nine cities and provinces in the new school year.

It was followed by the material construction group with an increase of 0.29%. This has been attributed to the gas price rise of 1.77%.

Meanwhile, the culture, entertainment and tourism group saw the sharpest decrease with 0.18%; food and catering services with 0.13%, the transport group with 0.08% and the post and telecommunications group with 0.03%.
